These impersonators may:

* Use real employee names, titles, photos, or LinkedIn profiles
* Claim affiliation with C&M Legal Search
* Contact candidates using Gmail or other non-company email addresses
* Present fake executive or confidential job opportunities
* Request resumes/CVs or other personal information

Please note:
All official communication from C&M Legal Search is conducted exclusively through email addresses ending in @cmlegalsearch.com. In some cases, authorized marketing partners working on our behalf may also reach out from a different domain. If you're ever unsure whether an email is legitimate, forward it to [email protected], and we'll confirm.

We will never:

* Conduct recruiting business through Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or other personal email accounts
* Request payment, banking information, or financial transfers from candidates
* Ask candidates to purchase equipment or pay onboarding fees

Watch for these warning signs, even if an email looks legitimate:

* Any request for money — application fees, "training" or equipment costs, background check fees
* Being asked to deposit a check and send back a portion of the funds
* Requests for your Social Security number, bank/routing numbers, or ID scans before any real interview has taken place
* An entire "interview" conducted over text or apps like Telegram/WhatsApp, with no phone or video call ever offered
* A job offer with little or no interview process
* Pressure to respond or accept within a very short window
